General statement of data privacy

1. Data privacy

We understand: the transaction market in institutional real estate lives from the greatest possible discretion. Your sale assets on the one hand, and your investment strategies on the other are the core of your business and the basis for its successful development. These therefore require maximum confidentiality and for this reason receive maximum and comprehensive protection at Asset Profiler- not only in the context of the legally proscribed regulations that focus on protection of personal data. Compliance with legal regulation of personal data protection, which we at Asset Profiler extend onto selling assets and investment strategies (hereinafter called profiles), is currently certified by a renowned institute recognised across all industry sectors. Below you will find information on what data are recorded during your visit to our homepage and how they are used. The websites of Asset Profiler may contain links to third-party websites to which our data privacy statement cannot and does not extend.

2. Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data refers to information about the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable user. If you are merely visiting our websites, it is a principle that no personal data are stored. In providing services however, Asset Profiler requires mandatory data collection, processing and use of personal data. These are only stored if freely entered by you, for example during the process of registration.

3. Purpose of data collection and storage

Asset Profiler uses your personal data for purposes of technical administration of the websites and for internal address management. It is a principle of Asset Profiler that no evaluation or analysis of personal data is undertaken. Personal data will not be passed on or forwarded to third parties under any circumstances without express prior consent. This approval shall be deemed granted only if a seller chooses to offer an asset to an investor identified through Asset Profiler as suitable and appropriate. In this case, it is expressly requisite to forward personal data since otherwise the services of Asset Profiler cannot be fulfilled. The collection of data entered by the user serves to represent the sale offer and is made available to those other users that the seller selects, and enables contact between them to be established. The collection of user-entered (non-personal) data also serves to create anonymous user profiles for the purposes of market research or for customizing the service. We may record information about the manner in which Asset Profiler is used. At present, Asset Profiler expressly rules out the use of Google Analytics. We use cookies, clear gifs, and log information to store data temporarily so that they do not have to be re-entered during the current or next visits to the Asset Profiler platform. In addition, the collection and storage of e-mail address also serves the following purposes: sending of information and communications relating to the services of Asset Profiler and the existing contractual relationship, sending out of password at first login and in case of re-request of the password.
