In Norman Meyer's 10 years in the sector, most recently as a partner in an investment-consulting
firm with offices in Hamburg, Amsterdam and Budapest, he has gained extensive experience in the
business of commercial real estate transactions. During this time he was personally responsible
for real estate deals with a total volume of about EUR 600 million in the segments of office,
logistics, retail and residential portfolios. Upon leaving the consulting firm, Norman Meyer
founded the Asset Profiler platform. He has a personal membership in the German Society of
Property Researchers (gif), as well as being a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Prof. Dr. Susanne Ertle-Straub
Ms. Ertle-Straub is Professor of Real Estate Research and Human Resource Management
at the HAWK University, Hildesheim / Holzminden / Göttingen, and Honorary Senator of
HfWU University, Nürtingen / Geislingen. Since 1996 she has provided consultancy services
for renowned real estate industry groups via her company CONSULTING MARKETING RESEARCH, and
enjoys a high industry-wide reputation as co-editor of ZIÖ, Journal of Real Estate Economy.
Ms. Ertle-Straub gained her extensive industry experience, among others, as head of the research
division at Dr. Lübke GmbH, as well as with diverse institutional investment groups such as
Allianz Grundstücks AG, Deutschen Grundbesitz Investment GmbH and in retail property project
development at the German Institute of Commercial Centres (Institut für Gewerbezentren).
Prof. Dr. Ing. Willi Alda
As one of the most prominent advocates of open funds, Willi Alda earned a high reputation
during his time as a member, and later chairman, of the board of Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH.
Between 1992 and 2004 he managed the fate of the largest German open-ended funds, following on from
a position as Head of Department, Central Construction / Real Estate at Germany's world-renowned
carmaker Porsche. A former president of the Initiative of the German Real Estate Industry
(Bündelungsinitiative der Deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft) "With One Voice", the emergence of the
present-day ZIA German Property Federation also traces its roots to his personal initiative.
Herr Alda is Honorary Professor at the University of Stuttgart, a member of the Urban Land
Institute (ULI), the Corporate Governance Initiative (ICG), Fellow of the Royal Institution
of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), curator of the Foundation "Living City" as well as of other
foundations, and a member of several supervisory and advisory boards of real estate enterprises.
Dipl.-Geogr. Hartmut Bulwien, FRICS
After working as business unit manager at the renowned Roland Berger Research Institute,
Hartmut Bulwien in 1983 founded the MUNICH INSTITUTE for Market, Regional and Economic Research,
the forerunner of Bulwien and Partner GmbH and today's BulwienGesa, which he led as CEO and
subsequently chairman for many years. He now heads the BulwienGesa Supervisory Board.
Herr Bulwien, like few others, developed the hitherto poorly recognised field of real estate market
research, and location and regional analysis. In addition to his business activities, he was a
founding member and for 20 years board member of the Society of Property Researchers (gif),
including eight years as its president. He has been a member of the Council of Real Estate Experts
from its very beginning, and has worked as lecturer at various training and educational
institutions, including the European Business School ebs or IREBS Real Estate Academy,
at the German Real Estate Academy (DIA), the University of Freiburg, the Biberach Construction
Academy and in the Department of Geography at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich.
Jürgen Ehrlich, FRICS
Jürgen Ehrlich shaped the success of Difa Deutsche Immobilien Fonds AG (now Union Investment
Real Estate) for almost four decades. Since his appointment to the board in 1969, within the
framework of strategic fund development, Difa acquired about 300 sometimes high-volume properties,
and resold around 100. From the early days he shaped the spirit of Difa to consider the tenant as
a customer who must be accorded full and comprehensive service. In addition to his Difa activity,
Jürgen Ehrlich played a strong role over the years in defining the importance and responsibilities
of the real estate industry through his initiatives in the Association of Corporate Governance in
Real Estate, the Society of Property Research (gif), the Federal Association of German Real Estate
Economy "With One Voice", and latterly as an initiator of the ZIA German Property Federation and
